We started out at Siena which we collectively thought was overrated after hearing such great things about it. It was really pretty, but just not a lot to it.
We then went to a lunch at a Chianti vineyard where we got a tour of the wine making process and tasted the wines and olive oils. It was really cool, and we raided their discount gift shop after.
After lunch we were taken to San Gimignano which was my favorite part of the trip. It's a mid-evil city that is completely walled in. It sits high up on hills and has a really pretty view of all of Tuscany. We had some free time there and just walked around and shopped.
After San Gimignano we headed to Pisa. We had still yet to see the leaning tower even though we are so close to it. We got to Pisa and knew what to expect, that all there really is there is the tower. So we took pictures for about an hour of trying to hold the tower up.
It was cool to really see a majority of the Toscana region of Italy in one day.
